We replaced a cheaply made island that was table height (who does that?). This package arrived on time and with complete instructions. (After we ordered the first unit I saw a negative comment about this same item not having instructions,etc., so we were really apprehensive. For no reason, it turns out. Ours came with complete instructions.
The wood is an oiled finish that we were going to paint but we like the natural look so well, we're not going to paint it black. One caveat though. This unit is rather shallow... this is why we ordered a second unit. I think the finished measurement is 16" deep and we needed at least 30" deep, so two units back to back will work very, very nicely. (Thanks for the free shipping Amazon!) (Review More...)
